Default coilovers or new OEM

Been awhile since I posted anything, as I have been busy with a lot of stuff. Bottom line though,I have to do something about my suspension. It was lowered before I bought it, an 01 Tiburon, and has been eating up tires on the right side. I finally got around to doing an alignment, and my right side camber is -2.5 in the front and -3.8 in the rear..horrible. since camber is unadjustable from the factory I figure something is either bent or the guy did a horrible job cutting springs. Either way, I need to do something with it. I have been debating between a set of camber bolts, OEM springs, or a set of coilovers, each has its set backs. If I go with OEM, i will have to rip off my rear bumper as the tires would rub something fierce. If i go with coilovers, I am not sure if it would fix my problem. I was thinking maybe coilovers with camber bolts?

As far as bent components, I will be looking again but nothing really looked out of the ordinary.

Suggestions?

I think going with coilovers and camber bolts is the easiest solution and it will dramatically improve your handling performance. HMU and I can get you setup with a special HyundaiAftermarket price.

I highly doubt that you would be getting -4 degrees of camber at the back with just some lowering unless you are tucking like 3" of wheel dude. It's hard to say for sure because there are two uncontrolled variables here because of the lowering springs.

Is the camber even on both sides?

What do your strut top rubbers look like?

The camber on my driver side is relatively decent, it is only my passenger front and rear that are insanely out. I have the print out at work and will get some exact numbers tomorrow.

I will check over the different components soon as I get a chance. I do know that the guy had it bagged at one point, and took them off because of some wiring issues.

Edit: I'm not sure how much it would affect it, but for probably 2 1/2 years, the place I parked was on the side of a highway incline that dipped into my driveway. It sat leaning to the passenger side on about a 20-30 degree incline.

That wouldn't bend them

Some choppy mexican isntalling 20 different suspension components might

Dont't american junkyards charge like one cent for used hyundai suspension components? I bet you could replace all of your control arms, rubbers, and shockies for less than a hundred bucks.

I am not sure how much junkyards around here charge for parts, but I could probably get most of them for relatively cheap.

Here is a picture of my alignment angles.

Edit: its not letting me attach the pucture from my phone. I will upload it once I get home.

So, after poking around while I was fixing my A/C the other day,I noticed the strut had a very noticeable bend where it enters the "sleeve", which bolts to my steering knuckle. Compared it to the back, they both had the same bend and after looking around I have came to the conclusion that they should not look like that lol. Needless to say, I'm going to be ordering done coil overs ASAP, and getting them swapped(sp?) out.

Yeah, they shouldn't be bent.

I can get a degree or so of camber adjustment with factory components. At least enough to even things out.
