Default Clear Plasti Dip

I have a question on clear plasti dip. If I spray my wheels with clear plasti dip will this hold up to the salt, brake dust and cold during the winter? I want to put something on the wheels to protect them during the winter. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If you are really worried about your nice wheels being destroyed during the winter (but not the whole car which is being destroyed at the same time) then get a set of cheap winter wheels and leave winter tires on them in the garage.

Clear plastidip will hold up fine as long as there isn't compacted snow grinding against the wheel.
