I had the ASX for a few months. They handle great in the wet and have long tread life. On the negative, they do not provide good traction on aggressive launches. So, if you want a tire for normal driving, it's a great tire, but if you you're looking for something to race in, this is not it. $66 is not a bad price, I paid more at Discountire.

I have the Kumho 712's, and they are great. FAR superior to the crappy stock Michelin's, and good wet traction as well. I have 205/45-16s, and the ride quality is still very good.

^^ Agreed. Now Redz can't say I'm the only one who hates them.

I have the ASX's right now. as someone stated earlier, they are great in water. The main reason I got them is because I wanted something that would work in snow too (needed new tires in fall...) and they actually did a good job in that too. Also already stated is they arent the grippiest... but I dont have any complaints about em, they did great for what i wanted them for.

The 712's are good tires, I've had them on for quite some time.

Granted, I'm not a stupid kid that street races either, but they handle great.
