Breaking Hard / 60+ Mph Speeds
hey everyone,
ive had my 01 tib for about a month now and its had the problem since i bought it.
when im going over about 60 mph i feel like a fast vibration in the car and the same problem happens when i break slighty harder than normal, its like a bumpy vibration, like if u had a rock stuck on your tire and it kept going in circles with your wheel, pretty much like that.
couple of my friends said it could be the rotors are warped but i havent had a chance to check anything out yet
is there any other problems it could be?
its an automatic 01 w/ 78,000 miles

that would most likely be your rotors. If you find out which ones are warped, you can take them into your local car shop and they can lathe them down strait for you.
Then, when you put the rims back on, make sure you torque the lug nuts, as your rotors will warp again if you do not properly torque your lug nuts on.

Do you vibrate only when you brake or all the time. Or is there always vibration and it's worse when you brake?
Get your wheels balanced first, it's cheaper. Since there's vibrating when you drive without braking, it seems that could be a cause. If that doesn't fix anything, then it would be rotors. Get slotted ones if you get new ones!

well when im cruising between about 0-to about 50ish mph, its fine but when i started to go 60+mph i can feel like the car kind of like a vibrating shaking feeling, i can especially feel it in my hands on the steering wheel the most
and yes when i do break hard i feel the same feeling as if i were going about 60 mph
