I was going to do my brakes and rotors today, So while I was working on the rear I took out the 4 bolts but it seems like like the caliper is like grasping for dear life onto the rotor....Did I miss something, I looked and couldnt find any other bolts....On my dodge it was as easy as that 4 bolts and it was off, the tib seems to put up a fight lol...Well if someone can help i would greatly apreciate it.

Oh danm I forgot about that.....Man I think that might be it...But thats all right 4 bolts? What about the rotors are they hard?....I got new rotors and my old ones have a screw in them, like almost in the middle and then a hole directly across from it. And the new ones don't do you think they gave me the worng rotors?

lol dude, have fun with the front rotors laugh.gif mine were so rusted on and i only had 50k miles on my car when i did it. It took about 20tons of pressure, heat, and alot of hammering to get em off. And im not joking about 20tons, I jacked up the back of a tow truck with the hub +rotor under it with a socket as a spacer... worked kinda well. And try not to damage the ball joints or you gotta replace em if you f-up the rubber =/.

I always have probelsm with my rotors as well. They seem to seize on. Maybe i ride the brakes to much or hit them too hard, but they seize on.

Be really careful taking them off, i've pulled a wheel beering out with a rotor once...dont wanna do that.

You pretty much gotta bang on the rotors with a mallet to get them off after 30,000 miles.

my front rotor came off in 3 pieces smile.gif

don't worry about the screws in the rotors, i was putting my new rims on the other day and the screws were preventing the wheel from sitting flush on the rotor. Took em out, wheel sat flush. it'd be nice to know what they are really for tho.
