Okay, so I was looking at these brake pads,

Clicky
and I see that they're made from "Ferro Carbon Compound"....

Is this better/worse than semi-metallic or ceramic pads? What is it?

HPS are great street pads
i also like pbr's ceramic pads ( won't fade but produce a bit more dust then i'd like)
pbr metalic pads are also a good choice, low dust but a bit more fade
