Default Brake Job

Before I replace my pads and rotors, is there anything I should know before hand. Such as any tips or tricks of the trade, I have never performed a brake job on my tibby before.

If I remember correctly on my 95 Elantra I needed a rotor puller to get the them off. But I believe they were captive style rotors and these are Non-Captive.

There should not be anything phunky about the setup. Just make sure you bleed your brake lines when done.

You probably don't need new rotors unless your old ones are damaged/grooved/etc... if they are you can probably have them "turned" for a lot less than new rotors anyway. When I replaced my brake pads at 81k miles I didn't have any vibration when stopping or pulling to one side so I just replaced the pads and they still are going strong at 89k miles.

I must drive the shi* outta my car, because my pads only lasted 24,000KM.
