Brake booster delete

Just wondering if anyone has done a brake boosted delete on an accent ?? And if there's any kits that may work for the accents with out doing crazy modifications ?

Brake booster delete IS a crazy modification.

That's what I'm wondering?! What's the benefit?

faithofadragon 01-10-2015 12:11 PM

why stop at just the booster?

why not remove the entire brake system. who needs it anyways and its just added weight

I'm trying to upload pictures but I've seen it on slot of Hondas for a super clean look idk if there's an alternative part they may use or what...

Oh, I see, your trying to shave the fire wall and I assume do a wire tuck. Hmmm... Seems pretty ballsy to want to completely remove the brake booster. Never changed one either. Not sure if it can be relocated or not. Thats what I would look into if I were you.

The brakes could be boosted with an electric booster, and you could get rid of the (larger) pneumatic one currently on the firewall. Depending on the master cylinder you use, you will probably have to redo all the brake lines which is anywhere from fiddly to a huge PITA, but definitely do-able. To get rid of the brake master cylinder on the firewall would be quite a trick, and you would have to have a totally different style of brake pedal.
