Black chrome rims
I don’t know the process of making rims black chrome but I do know that chrome rims in general are heavier than non chrome. So are black chrome rims still chrome (do they go through the same process) or is it something else? I’m asking because I’m curious about rim weights.

Off the top of my head: Chrome rims are heavier because they're steel. You polish aluminum and it's shiny. To make steel shiny, you polish then plate it.
