My car sits very low 3.75 inch to be exact, and I scape in multiple places on my daily driving routine. I'm afraid of wearing the fiberglass out on the bodykit. What would be the best way to raise the car? Thanks B)

 

I would say hydraulics. wink1.gif

 

Hydraulics are messy loud and very lowriderish...i would do airbags..but then you lose some driveability in my opinion.

coilovers will help with handling and not be bulky like hydros or air bags

 

Put a metal "skid-plate" under the body kit. It will slide and protect the body kit.
Aluminum will wear through sorta fast, but it's light and fairly cheap to have someone make.

 

^^ Bingo... it would end up being cheaper, even over time, if you like the suspension you have. If you have stock suspension, and are looking at getting a new one, than coilovers or bags might be better.

 

I agree.. put something stronger and less expenive between the bodykit and the road. A skidplate is probably the best way to go.

Do it right and you can get sparks on demand at night.

 

I would suggest the skid-plate idea and some better shocks (if you still have the stock ones)

 

What type of business would do the skid plate work?
I was thinking a thin piece of diamond plate.

 

anyplace specialising in offroad trucks should be able to fab you up one..
