Best way to get cracked lug nut off

I have a cracked lug nut that my key just spins inside because it cant grab onto it tightly. Is there any way to get this thing off without ruining my wheel?

Maybe try one of those gator sockets? You sure your key isn't jacked up? I'm confused. Your key spins "inside" the lug nut?!?
