there's NO WAY a treadware #760 tire such as the HydroEdge will wear out quicker than a Yoko w/ #440.

i bet i could make them wear out faster

i'm sure you could. and if you try warrantying 'em based on treadware you will be refused on the basis that the fronts would be bald and the rears would have like half-life on them...

there's ways around everything though. trust me... wink1.gif

First of all I am curious on why you are running larger rear tires. We arn't rear whell drive (just a heads up) so shouldnt you actually have the bigger tires in the front (retorical question)?

Looking at the ratings/prices of all Yokohama tires compared to Pirelli tires I can not figure out why ANYONE would purchase a set of Yokohama tires. IMO of course.

How about The BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW-2

I am thinking about getting these in 205/50-15

They have a lower treadwear but they get great reviews.

I have the BFGoodrich Traction T/A. The 50k mile ones. 195/55/15. I love them. Compared to the Michelin tires these are heavenly. Tighter turns and definatly better in the rain. The ride is a little rougher but then again these tires last almost twice as long so you gotta give something somewhere.

majik I heard good things about them, I like the tread design. If the price is right I think I might trry them this summer.

Funny I was just thinking about this about an hour ago.
