well i took a look at my car when i was up in the air today
and i found out i need new ball joints
ok ours cant be pressed out can they? someone told me a while back that our ball joints are one piece with the control arm is that true?
someone good at weldin that can make new control arms hehe?
pro made some really nice ones and i was SOOOOOOO interested in buyin them

yeh i dont know whats going on he says I have them but I have yet to get the car and the control arms or any of my stuff..I trust and have faith in these parts..i wish he would have mass produced but didnt see no interest..Chris

yes you can depress ball joints from control arm.

hmm, ball joints in Ukraine are about $15-20 from the dealer

dang press?? I pounded mine out with a hammer and poped the others in by hand, when you tighten them down they'll pop into place. picked up the ball joints at napa i think, good moog parts. only downside is that they have to be greased which requires taking off the tires at every oil change.

Trust me, Supercow, I have destroyed balljoints in other cars. Having to take the wheel off to grease them once in a while is CHEAP insurance.

A couple of years ago, we had a problem in the fiat world with defective balljoints. I had one set not last 3000 miles before one of the lowers blew apart into 4 pieces. Thankfully I was pulling out of a parking lot at the time, and not on the highway I was heading to.
