I just got some GroundControl coilovers (Sleves) and i got some questions for those who have them. I got them used so there isnt a clear instruction on what to do...

1. What is the highest setting/lowest the coils can be set in?

2. Tips on adjusting the coils, so i dont screw up the first time?

3. Any tips on installation? I installed my Prokits before and wondering if they are the same?

Thats pretty much it, thanks again.

My friends run ground control with stock struts and its fine.
we'll see how it goes, im hoping the GC is pretty good. Sorry but the Prokits aint lower enough for my 16's and i'll finish up my suspension a bit later.

your struts will be gone within a couple months if you go lower than the prokit springs.

Springs struts and sleeves? All 3? Whats the benefit of that?

^ It's all 3... I don't know what the benifit is though....

I have ground control coilovers on stock struts and have had them on for about 7 months without my stock struts blowing. When I put mine on it instantly lowered it by atleast 2" on the highest setting.

As far as installation... It's easy, but I don't have any instruction eithere because I bought the co's from Ebay. Adjustings is easy enough, unscrew set screw and compress the spring or loosen it by rotating part of the bottom sleeve to desired rotations, then screw in the set screw.... sounds confusing but it's not smile.gif.

I'll be working on mine quiet a bit so if at helps any I could try and type something up in the way of instructions(with pics) for you.

Splinter cel- Thanks man ^^^^^^^^^best info haha.. after installing, how bad was you camber ? did you get a camber kit?

Sounds quite easy, im probally gonna install them some time this week if it doesnt rain, dam san francisco rain...

Ground control is a type of coilover. people call them sleves and here is a link for it ... you put it over shock (stock, koni, kyb, etc)
http://www.ground-control-store.com/produc...hp/II=118/CA=24

the height is adjustable for different situations, by spinning a ring.
