ok. these are my plans. first off, i will be using the ksport coilovers with this setup.

wheels: 16x7 with a 40mm offset
tires: 205/45/16

im pretty sure there wont be any rubbing as long as i dont go too low, but just wanted to make sure with that slightly lower than recommended offset.

Definately looks like its going to be fine... I don't see you running into any problems.

Sorry to hijack, but since it's 90% the same question...

Anybody tried 215/45/16 with a ~1.5" drop (Eibach pro-kit)? As long as it doesn't rub with the lip rolled, I would be happy.

you guys have really nothing to worry about. I barely rub with 2.5" drop and 215s on 17s.

I'm at factory height, just installed 215/45/17 tires and feel a little rubbing in my fenders. Got them installed Saturday, and heard/felt rubbing last night and today (only when hitting a bump and turning). Not much clearance... gonna roll the fenders hopefully this weekend.

He's mainly asking about "Offset" people. wink1.gif

I have 205/40/17's lowered 1.6", WITH 40mm offset.

NO rubbing what so ever. You will be good with your set-up.

No clearance issues.
