Lets say I ordered Rims that DONT have clearance for the bolts on the rotor (Captive rotors)
Can I get a hubcentric spacer or something to allow me to fit the wheels flush to the rotor? ... If so , is this a good idea?

and if the spacers are 0.500"(1/2) or 0.750"(3/4) thick would I still need to get longer replacement bolts for the rotor ?

Ehhh, I do not think it'd be a good idea to double up on spacers.

 

well.. if you are running spacers to clear the bolts.. just make sure that the spacers have cut outs to fit the captive bolts into.. Your best bet is to convert from captive to non
