Those that are slammed pretty low, did you have a hard time finding an alignment shop that could get your car on their rack? A lot of shops don’t have the capabilities to drive a car on the rack, even if its slightly lowered. Cant imagine what you super slammed had to go through.

I drove onto a traditional rack. They had long 2x4s ready and used them, but it wasn't necessary - there was plenty of clearance. If a shop wants business, it'll take the 30 seconds to break out $2 worth of wood and get you on the rack.



I did see pictures on Facebook last week of a local guy who was at a shop with a flat rack - they put a hole in the floor to mount the hydraulics and equipment so you drive straight onto the flat rack, then it lifts you. It looked pretty sweet.

Recessed alignment racks FTW! I can think of 2 shops that I have done previous service work for In a 200 mile Radius of Sacramento that recessed there rack. It looks really good when down in the rest position, just gives the shop a cleaner feel.
