I wanna put air ride on my accent, and was wondering if any one here knows wats a good company to shop from and maybe some info about wat size struts i would have to use???
Most of the air rams that are out on the market are generally one size. And most companies now-a-days are all pretty legit when it comes to good quality. Handling wont be AS GOOD as a good set of drop springs and struts, but there are things you can do to tighten up the car around the corners, if you install air, like the usual strut braces, sway bars, etc...
Are you installing the system or will a shop be doing it? Whats your main reason for wanting to go on air? Show? Adjustable suspension?
A good setup will run you between 800-1200, plus install if you're having a shop install it. For that cost, you can get a pretty sick static race suspension set up, but if you're going for show....then Air is alot of fun. It'll also take you a little bit time to get used to how to hit your switches, how to level out your car for driving, and for learning to keep things maintained properly.
Good luck!
