Default Aftermarket rims and tires

Hey guys, need your help. I have bought Eagle 193's 17' rims with tires. They are all mounted and balanced. I put on the rims made sure everything was tightly secured and the steering wheel shimmied. Well I just looked at the rotor and there are 2 screws that are not flushed and it is stopping the aftermarket rims to lay flat on the rotors(that is what is causing the shimmy). The original rims are set back where the screws are located therefore the original rims lay flat. Now my question to you all can I put washers on the bolts to give it even space all the way around so the rim will tighten evenly or is there a better option? Please let me know asap.

You can remove those two screws (phillips head screws). Actually, you HAVE to remove those screws in order for the aftermarket rims to lay flat. It's okay to remove them, all they do is hold the rotor in place when the wheel is not on the car. Once you put the rim on, it tightens down on the rotor, and your good to go.

Exactly, those screws are there for assembly.. and considering that your car is obviously already assembled you can remove them without causing any menchanical damage to your car. Good Luck!

ever since i took those screws out my brakes have been squealing... coincidence, maybe, but it makes me wonder.

the 2 screws have nothing to do with the brake noise.

The noise is letting you know your pads are getting worn down and it's time for new pads.

We're not talking about the bolts on a Captive Brake car, are we? (I asume not because I checked on The Great White Shark's profile he has a post 1999 model).
