I was looking at picking up new axles on rockauto and noticed the abs option. Has anyone ever added abs to their tib? I've always seen the abs fuses and wished my tib had abs factory.

Looks like the sensors would add up to about $500 plus 120 for the axles plus I figure there are going to be brackets and things missing, will need a master cylinder... I'm beginning to think the only way to go would to be to find a tib in the junkyard with abs and pull everything from it. As far as I know I've never seen one!

you would buy a whole new wiring harness also. the hookup is at the end of the harness along with the ground for it. not to mention the stainless lines and the fluid block that actually controlls the ABS.

I am pretty sure it would be a total PITA.

I got an axle installed once, and the tech. thought he heard me say "yes" when I said "no" to "Does it have ABS?"

. . . they gave me an ABS axle laugh.gif Oh well it still turns.
