Yes, the Tib front brakes are bigger than those on the Accent. The brakes on the Accent are made to fit under a 13" wheel, while the ones on the 97-01 Tib/Elantra will fit under 14" wheels or bigger.

You'll need the rotors and calipers from the Tiburon as well, PLUS the steering knuckles and the bearing/hub assemblies. At least, that's what's required to do the swap on the x3 Accent. I'm not even sure if the parts needed for the brake swap would fit on the LC Accent. Also, the hub centres are different sizes (67.1mm for the Tib, 56.1 mm for the Accent), so you'd need different hub centric rings for the front wheels, IF you could even do the swap.

As for the bolt pattern, yes it does matter... well, I suppose if you had wheels drilled for both 4x100 and 4x114.3, it would work... PROVIDING, once more, that the parts are even compatible with the LC.

But you would probably be better off finding a company that sells aftermarket brakes... maybe KVR? Perhaps see if Shark Racing or the Hyundai Performance.com store has any big brake kits for the LC.
