i luv 18s... too bad u gotta use series 35 rubber.

 

18's look good but start to get a little heavy unless you shell out some serious $$$.
Personally I think 17's are a better choice for the Tibby if you want big rims. They will look plenty big and will be alot cheaper with more styles to choose from. Which means you can find a fairly light set of wheels at a reasonable price.
Also take into consideration the price of tires when you buy larger rims.

 

How is the handling on that car with 18s? Is it crappy? Does he have problems braking?

 

I would stick with what autobot said 17s are the perfect size for the tibby, once you get into 18s they cost more first of all and slow your tibby down even more. when I put 17s on mine and lowered the car it just fit without rubbing if you put 18s on I not sure if you would be able to lower your tib. Dopeskills....my buddy has 35 series rubber on his rims so you really feel the bumps quite easily when driving in it. Plus not to mention his car is lowered 2" with the factory shocks. It's not too bad, and it definitly tolerable. I will tell you this though...when he's rollin down the road, that's all you see are is his rims. Those things are huge! Plus the fact that he rolls on 35 series, it literally looks like he's rollin on the rims only. He bought those rims and tires as a packaged deal for only like $900. They were in a local rice shop as a display set and the shop wanted toget rid of them real cheap. You seriously can't beat that price considering their Axis rims with Toyo rubber.
