5 lugs tiburon suspension on an LC?
I was wondering if it is possible to get the 5 lug suspension from a new tiburon and bolt on to the LC? I know you can get the older tiburon 4X114 all wheel disc suspension but if this is possible i would much rather go this route because of all the upgrades available for tiburons.

I've thought about this before too. I would assume that the springrates would be off and it would probably change the balance of the suspension a bit. If I could find a way to do it though I definitely would, but I guess I'm stuck with one less lugnut to deal with while I'm seemingly constantly pulling my suspension apart.. lol

If the tib spindles and hub assemblies can be swapped over to the elantra, and the elantra stuff is a Direct swap on the LC (andy and Sharptooth both have done this x3 and LC) Why cant the tib suspension swap over? Using Accent springs????

I think the issue is that the Tib strut assembly is longer than an Accent's. I've never had both off at the same time to compare though. I'll have to check and see if the top mounts are the same, they might be different too.

So then, if assuming the top mounts fit, then we could have something that might be worth trying. I'm thinking it would also mean a bit of a drop in height. What that means for clearance I guess really depends on the amount of drop and springrate, plus the change in suspension geometry. I'm a little short on cash right now otherwise I would visit my local salvage yard a visit. Oh and sorry if anything is wrong.. I'm running on next to no sleep and under stress. lol

what the tib might find as a sporty suspention the LC would find it as a huge metal rod.
sure it is posible to swap the whole assebly but the struts are going to me as stif as riding on steel rods due to weight.
if the struts are too long then you would increase hight and totaly throw off all traction at the same time.
so the answer to the question is yes
but if you want to have better handling then you might want to fabricate something instead of swap.

I didn't understand EVERYTHING you said.. But as far as fabrication goes, it sounds like a decent idea.. I just don't have the means. My LC handles perfect for me anyways considering it easily takes circular on-ramps at 50+
