Basically I was going 110 down the highway, a kangaroo jumps out in front of me. Stupid me put the handbrake on, rotated 360 degrees for 50m down the road. Start driving as normal and now I can feel + hear what sounds like a flat tire. So I pull into the servo and check for leaks, check tire pressure....all the same as I had checked them 2 days ago. so im stumped....maybe a flat spot on the tire? im hoping I didnt screw the axle or something. Any ideas? sad.gif

Sounds like a flat spot to me. If you locked up your tires, when you spun, you probabally burnt a flat spot into at least one of your tires.

Dimitry, a flat is a flat area on your tire where the rubber has burned away. Since he locked his rear tires he might of burned a section of a tire flatter from all the friction on the road.

I did the same doing about 85 mph and i burned a flat spot in my tire so im pretty sure you did the same. i never really thought kangaroos were all over where you are. i always thought it was jsut something people thought.

Ham remembers a video of where a kangaroo got hit in a rally race...

Those darned kangaroos must be everywhere where you guys are. Several of our Aussie members have managed to almost hit them.

I locked my tires going from 60mph until in the dirt at the track. I gt a little flat spot it was like bump bump bump bump Dont worry that was on my old coppers not my new azzenies hail.gif THat would have been horrible. I dont think he skidded far enough to go all the way through the tire but all tires are different

LOL! nah roos arnt everywhere here. Just comming from the Gold Coast to Brisbane is a major stretch of highway so you get alot of wildlife getting hit.
After work I swapped my rear tyres to the front (same profile) and guess what? no more bump bump bump bump fing02.gif On another note it looks like the steering arm may have some damage.....seems to be twisted bigeyes.gif i'll try to post some pics if I can to show what I mean.
