Alrite, I kept good air pressure in my old tires on stock rims and yes the low profile tires on the 18's does decrease body roll. Also, I was trying to match the speed of my friends car to make sure the speedometer reads correctly with the new rims and he floored it to get up to speed, so enough about this street racing crap.

Blizaga- Maybe the rims do slow you down a hair but I can't notice a difference, but they do handle just as well if not better. If 18's is what you want than go for it b/c the differences are very unnoticable.

how about yes.. but it depends. If you are going for the rims "Just for show" at high end shows like HIN.. why not buy them JUST for show. Leave your stockers or current rims on for cruising the streets and throw the 18s on when you go to shows. This keeps the rims and rubber looking good and saves your car from huge rims all the time.

best of both worlds.. if you can afford it.

Even for HIN with 18's your car will be WAY off the ground making it look ridiculous. Get 17's or even 16's, drop it like hell and lip or kit it if you want a good look. Big wheels on a car like ours makes it look funny being a foot off the ground or so. My 2c.

P.S. Get bags for show.

that is why I am saying use them just for show. He can put the smallest ratio rubber he can find on them and not have to worry about speedo issues or even having the car look like it is jacked up into the air.

Sorry didnt clarify for the tire pressures. What I meant was that if you have 30 psi all around you will have alot of body roll, btu if you use maybe 42 in the front and 45 rear or something like that (like I do). Then you wont have that much bodyroll. And I was trying to say keeping up with someone or something like that is a bad indicator of performance. And if you have a kit and on airbags you maybe able to pull off 18s for show reasons. But if you dont have those things I wouldnt do it.
