Default 17x8 or 17x9

Anyone running wide rims with massive lips? Im sure running an 8" or 9" wide rim would cause some rubbing, but I think they look hot on the right kind of cars. Wanted to see if anyone here had them.

I use 7.5, any more would require huge spacers IMO...I lowered my car 1/2 an inch from the stance I've had for years, and hooked the fender well on the first turn lol.
