215/50R17 is tooooo big, no wonder why you had rubbing issue.

With 2015/40 R17 you should be fine.

Purple springs, if I'm not mistaken are Inthrax springs with 2" drop.

What shocks do you have?

No clue what kind of shocks. I think they're stockers. They're all black with no visible writing on them.

If they are Intrax,... they say 2", but will sag, yes SAG to like 2.5"or 2.75"

They're definetly NOT the best out there,...

FYI:

17x7 with a 215/45/17 size tire will fit and not rub.

Once I first put my Kyowa Racing KR210's on my car I had a rubbing issue for a few days (nothing major, just over BIG dips) until I scheduled to have a wheel alignment done.

Since the alignment they ride perfect, no rubbing ever.

Stock suspension and no spacers either.

Good luck with figuring everything out. 215/50 are huge for 17's on the Tib.

Thanks for the help everyone! Wheel Shop finally got the tires in and put them on and they fit on the car PERFECTLY!!! They look allright on the car too. No rubbing or anything. It also lifted my car off the ground a little and now I wont have to go so slow outta allies. Thanks again.

You guys with rubbing problems must have gotten a defective tib from the factory. LOL. Cause i had 18 inch rims with 35 profile with air bags for suspension and i can have it all the way down and still drive with no rubbing. Except when i hit a bump, the chassis hits but no tire rubbing.
