Do a search mang, 17's suck. Get 16's.

you can check out the link to a couple of pics of my car,
I have 17" rims, with 215/40/R17's , the rims have a 42mm offset,my car is lowered 1.25" , and yes they rub a little if I have the wheels turned all the way and go over a bump like up a driveway or something, I just take the bumps with the wheels straight and there is not problem. If you get 17" I would reccoment 205/40/17 tire size. to reduce the risk of rubbing.
In my opinion:
17"'s look better, but they are much heavier, can get bent easier. and are more money
16" look almost as good, they are lighter, and have more tire to protect the rim. and are usually a little less money

So you have to decide what you want. The eternal question, Show or Go?

hope this helps

16inch Rims.

205/50/16's.

I know why I'm rubbing, it's no biggie and will be fixed today.

ugh... now people are saying to go 16"... when I first posted pictures of my car, everybody was saying I needed 18" instead of my 17's...

first my wheels are too small, now they're too big? WHEN WILL IT END!

Personally, I think 17" is good for a Tiburon, 18" is better for SOME that may have a body kit like mine... but it depends on how big the body kit is. For my car, I think 18" would look better, but for most, 17" is the way to go.
I have 215/40/17 and am perfectly happy with them. Not even close to rubbing (with stock height)
