Default Just an Idea

my friend has 4 bolt universal fit rims.... will they fit my car...

i think the '99 Tib is 4x114.3 or something like that

and his Golf is 4x100

but if they are universal 4 bolt then they should fit right?

there's no real such thing as "universal"... i mean, the rim could have 2 size bolt patterns on it. i guess thats what ppl think by universal. then you'd have to take account the hub size of the vehicle and the rim. and, with a vw, they have lug/stud combination lugnuts, so you'd have to figure out if those rims could accept those style lugs

oh dammit... well i may see if they fit tomorrow night... just to have a look.... $300 for rims and tires that are not even two years old
