Just wanting to see which color rims would look best on a BLACK RD2. I'm personally leaning towards the Gun Metal, but i wanna get a vote goin. i'm not too sure how gun metal would look on a black car. here are the rims:
Motegi FF5
White:

Silver:

Gun Metal:

Black:

Don't forget..... black car. and these will be 17's (they don't make 'em in 16s)

IMO i would go with silver... i think the silver would look best with the black man... although gunmetal wouldnt look too bad... i just like to be able to see the wheels ya kno... makes em stand out when you can actually really see em

gunmetal, at least that's what i'm hoping to get soon - if i'm looking at the picture right, it's got a polished lip right? very nice if it does!

well, I would definatly not go with the white or the black. The rest depends on what else you have done to the car. If the lights are stock and there is no tint on the windows... the silver would be perfect.. if you tinted the tails, went with carbon altrezzas (or lexus lights as they call them in europe) and have tinted or blacked out the chrome on the headlights.. go with the gunmetal

I agree with Mad-Machine,

It all depends on what you are going to do to your car.

If you have lots of C/F, I would go with the gun-metal

If you have an aluminum wing, and no tint, perhaps silver.

Black or gunmetal. If you go with black, you'll have to do a whole theme and black out as much of the car as possible.

on the exterior i only have APC euro tails. i'm tinting the windows soon (i hope). i have to do my homework on a few companies. i don't wanna get a shitty tint job done. i'm also perplexed on how to tint it. all black. or black to silver fade (like on majik's and david's car)

and thanks for everyone's opinions. more is welcome smile.gif

*UPDATED*

i put the rims on my car today. 17X7 Motegi FF5's in Hyper Black, wrapped in Kumho Ecsta 712's 205/40/17. i know puttin 17s aren't looked positive on, but i got a HELL of a deal. 4 rims and tires cost me less than $800. and that includes road hazard, alignment and mount/balance. i love workin where i do tongue.gif

check out the pics:

tell me what you think laugh.gif

and, can one of you moderators close that poll? i can't figure out how.
