from what ive heard you dont want a rubber top mounting as the rubber can wear

i could be wrong though

HyundaiKitCoupe 10-22-2006 09:39 PM

wow what the hell. that's all super incredibly cheap. how is the quality?? and how come this is first coming up for our cars?

REDZMAN 10-23-2006 10:11 AM

AJay, is that you in the pic?

homey14h 10-23-2006 10:14 AM

^^No redz...its some black dude stealin his stuff, thats why hes happy.... pokey.gif

01tibby 10-23-2006 11:57 AM

this looks quite interesting. they look pretty well put together too. make sure to post back every once in a while with how they are holding up. that is the true test with things that just come out of left field like this.

SOCKS_old 10-23-2006 02:44 PM

damn.. new suspension for me.. post how they are, and under the different settings. let us know how hard the ss3 setting is..

love the fourth pic mang. lol

Teflon 10-23-2006 02:59 PM

prostreetonline.com has these coilovers for $599. Just in case anybody wanted to know

funkypc 10-23-2006 03:11 PM

Ajay, do you know how this compares to the ride comfort of the eibach pro kit? (dampers and coils)
or compared to stock?
and how does it feel cornering and such?

Rd1tib 10-23-2006 04:54 PM

what were u running on before? and how do they compare?

tell us the adjustments and stuff. this sounds interesting.

t28turbulence 10-23-2006 06:53 PM

omg.. thas all i have to say.... I'll post pics in the mourning, im going out for a drive to break em in smile.gif

SOCKS_old 10-23-2006 06:58 PM

^^^ ajay, u suck.. i envy your car and its suspension.. i need a friggin job.. blah..

HyundaiKitCoupe 10-23-2006 08:38 PM

damn congradulations!! how did you find out about this?

it's a steal, that is if it is well put together. looks like you approve. please do tell us how they hold up and if they rust or not. it's wierd how these things just appeared. my first thought was like, "the hell did this come from?" and so damn inexpensive. they look really good!! please show us pics of your car now.

i love my eibachs, but if i knew i could have saved $300 hey why not. the red springs look very hot with the stainless steel. nice find. i'm still quite surprised as these are full coilovers...

how much of a drop is it?

01tibby 10-24-2006 11:25 AM

they are full coilovers, and come with an adjustable lower mount, which is always a plus. the only thing i would like to see are pillowball mounts for the fronts, but for this price that cant be expected.

Honestly man, LEARN TO TAKE PICTURES HOLY SHIT or please to god have someone else take them for you, maybe a 5 year old pasing by on a scooter.

Your car could be made of 19k GOLD and I'd have no idea wtf is in those pics.

t28turbulence 10-24-2006 12:57 PM

oh grow up, do you feel better making fun of people over the internet? my CAMERA phone its limited when it comes to taking photo's of flat black cars. I just tried to take a video how ever i couldnt get it to come out any brighter

funkypc 10-24-2006 01:04 PM

looks good! its hard to see on some of those pictures though wink1.gif
Can you comment on the ride quality?

t28turbulence 10-24-2006 01:07 PM

it rides GREAT, i can throw the car around like a go-kart!!

REDZMAN 10-24-2006 01:13 PM

Stop quoting the posts above yours.

Please. Mess with the settings on your phone/camera or spend $100 to get a dedicated camera that can take a 1/4 way decent picture.

You keep posting shitty pictures, folks will keep talking about them.

I've avoided most of your threads as the photos don't show anything.

SOCKS_old 10-24-2006 01:18 PM

stfu, u picture homos..

who cares, i see enough, and hear enough about the suspension to wanna go steal money and buy em.. they look hawt, and seem like they are VERRRRYY inexpensive for what they are.. i want em.. and your car looks BADASS.. love the eclipse bumper..

t28turbulence 10-24-2006 01:39 PM

ok, i had to jack my sisters camera so sorry for the quality

SOCKS_old 10-24-2006 01:48 PM

omfg, that is soo sexay.. only suggestion: clean up how the rear lip and bumper flow, and mold in the side skirts.. otherwise, thats how an rd2 should look.. how much you want for that front bumper mold smile.gif

i love that eclipse front end though.. damn man.. i love your style.

REDZMAN 10-24-2006 03:47 PM

Much nicer. Steal her camera more often.

LOL

tanc 10-24-2006 04:48 PM

Holy crap thats much better!

Steal her camera and keep it smile.gif Those photos are great. I appologize for snaping earlier, but everytime you post a thread with something nice and unique, I can never tell what is is and it gets me frustrated LOL.

Nate give these a try man. You don't need to flip out on me man, I couldn't see anything in those pics, and Im as curious as you are.

HyundaiKitCoupe 10-24-2006 05:14 PM

hey he didn't have to post pics. hell i have a crappy camera but it does the job. as long as it does the job than it's fine. if you want some real pictures of this suspension just google it. leave the man alone haha.

ajay they're just p*ssed because your tiburon is unique. man that thing would look so badass painted black. it looks unfinished. but that's just some feedback. is that with the suspension already on? it doesn't look like a bad drop either, kind of like the eibach.

are these adjustable? last i checked they were and they had screws you could screw up or down to adjust.

t28turbulence 10-24-2006 05:47 PM

yea its a 1-4 inch drop... i could go ALOT lower but i dont want any tire rubbing.. plus if i lower the perch on the shock i could drop it prolly 5 inches smile.gif! but thats too low for size of rims and tires i have lol ANyone else running a 225/45/17 slammed like me with no tire rub?? anyone? hehehe

SOCKS_old 10-24-2006 05:51 PM

i hate u drillsergeant.gif ^^^^

i want this suspension.. damnit.. f*** michigan.. if i had a job.... f*** i have been owned.gif by MI

gsasha1 10-25-2006 01:49 AM

Hey man!

Once again, YOU ROCK!!

Keep innovating (sp?) !
I love the wayyour car looks!! So just to clarify.... Is the height adjusted by the lower mount, without pressing the spring?

I see that you have the ss1 version, how comfortble(!) is it? on bad roads?
Did the habdling improve?

Thanks! Sasha.

PS, Can you please check for the size of the box and it's estimated weight? Maybe my friend, visiting the states can put it in his bag...

t28turbulence 10-25-2006 02:41 AM

for everyone who's wondering... the ride quality is amazing on smooth and rough surfaces, even on damaged roads the ride is still ok.... it stiff and very well put together, i just belive that they are trying to reach out to the tiburon community to generate some intrest in this department and thats why they are so inexpensive:)

SOCKS_old 10-25-2006 08:13 AM

have you messed with adjusting the dampening at all yet? they are adjustable right?

damnit, i need money.. i want these like now.. anyone want my eibach/kyb setup smile.gif less than 20k on em.

hot rod pat 10-25-2006 01:15 PM

Well that settles it, I know what i'm gonna buy for my Tib this summer. Man-o-man do i love your car. I just can't get enouph of it. Looks like a great little set up.

Pat

hamhead 10-25-2006 03:47 PM

TBH, I'm tempted to buy them too after some sort of F/I setup.

NightShark 10-25-2006 03:50 PM

believe me guys, one of my fav mods on my car is my full coilovers setup.. if your thinking about springs/struts vs full coils, go full coilovers.. its honestly one of my best mods
