well, a year and 2 months since I bought my Ti.

When I first got her:

To some cosmetic stuff.. smokled lights, Motorsports front bumper, DS1 rims.

Then came the real modifications. Projector headlights with HIDs, HID fogs..

And now, finally. I spent the last two days installing a Bilstein PSS9 coilover system, new front control arms, bushings all around, and a mostly new rear suspension...

Next comes exhaust work, then some body work and paint.. then she supercharger come this spring..

Wow, it looks 100x better dropped. At stock height those rims almost look tiny. But dropped they look A-Ok!

looks good! I think I'm eventually going to do a project like yours. I've wanted to for a long time but seeing how yours has progressed makes me want to even more.

well, after going for a real drive today and pushing the car.. two things have cropped up.

A: she rides a bit too hard. I need to soften the shocks/struts some.

B: she pushes when hard into a turn. I need to soften the front more than the rear.

but I can say I gave an M3 a scare. I was heading into work this morning and decided to take the Atlantic City Expressway in.. at the end is the "connector tunnel" that leads towards the Marina district Casinos and the City of Brigintine.. to get from the expressway to the connector you have to go through a hard series of turns and S's where the official Speedlimit is only 35mph.. and honestly, most people cannot even go that fast through there.

As you can see, if you follow the blue from the left where it shows Exit "1" around to where it compleates the loop under itself, this is a hard tight section of turns. The M3 and I went through there at about 65mph.. but I was fighting my car the entire time, the front end wanted to push (understeer) and the Ti is known for biting hard if you back off when in a hard fast corner... certainly left me with sweaty hands and a fast beating heart when I was done.

damn that looks like my led wiring! i heard bilsteins are the best. i wanted to get some but decided there's nothing more that i want than eibach.

does it also drive like a go-kart now or what? can you upgrade sway bars to get rod of the understeer? i got eibach sway bars and you can take it to the limit like cake.
