yea, it is amazing how a few more pennies or dollars when they built the car would have transformed it,
To put it into perspective, it probably only would have cost hyundai an additional 10 bucks a car to use a short shifter like the arc.
But they also had reasons not too.. besides price. Many regular normal drivers do not like the notchy feeling associated with a precise short shifter. To them it feels cheap and unrefined.
Go figure.
