Fiat pulled out of this country in 1981, the last fiat derived cars were sold in 1987. This Barchetta (Italian for "little boat") was privatly imported. It is a front wheel drive sporty car (not really a sports car) that combined sportyness with a unique style and driveability.

Not my colour either... but I think it would be fun (if I had the money) to buy and mod the hell out of it.. great times taking it to NOPI and all the other shows.. people would have NO idea what the hell it was.

i've seen those all over europe there. quite popular, but the boat shapes don't cut it for me. still would be a fun little machine to cut corners in... reminds me of the Fiat Multipla days... uuuughhh. Flush.gif

The coupe was a screamer. With the Five Cylinder, 20 valve turbo charged engine it was the fastest production front wheel drive car in the world when it was still being made.
