Tri Turbo Supra
Its an old car, I remember getting the magazine it was in a few years ago. Since I just posted that quad turbo setup, I though I would search for this again smile.gif

holy crasy pipes batman! I wanna see a picture of the manifold on that thing, it has to be insane looking.
I wonder how much of an advantage he really has over a nicely done single turbo supra(probably none). like this 1000 hp one http://urbanracer.com/articles/anmvi...sp?a=1195&z=16 and really how much price difference (after all that audio stuff) there is.

^^ I disagree, but only on the lag portion. If you have a crazy single turbo, you've got a little bit of boost lag, with a single turbo you either have a quick spool, or a sizable lag.
A High powered Single turbo could also force cars into traction problems when reaching full boost earlier in the gears.
I'll bet that this vehicles torque and HP dyno charts are sooooo smooth and steady with all gears feeling like you are ALMOST going to break the tires loose. Not even to mention the fact that this would be soooo much better to drive then a slug with a T9000000 turbo. (I know I'm exaggerating)

Yeah, but on a supra, you dont nessecarily need to have a HUGE turbo for an awsome setup. You dont need that high of HP to run low 10's.
In fact there are many 6spd single turbo street driven supras out there. This in itself awnsers the Single vs. Twin war.

I don't doubt that. With enough electronics to lauch the space shuttle you can have both, I know that. But just in the case of high HP output the best is a larger turbo.
What I meant was Large TC = More Lag higher Max Boost, Small TC = Faster spooling but lower max boost.
With 3 Turbochargers, he should be able to run higher HP numbers IMO, but hey I just glanced at it.
LOL I just thought to myself........ Bigger is not always better. LOL I kill myself lmao.gif
