YES!!!!!!!
Someone finally had the means to finance me for a newer car!!!
I would first like to thank the Lord my God for this. Without Him, nada. Secondly, Stokes Volkswagen for getting the loan through.
It's a 2003 Volkswagen Jetta GLI
Specs:
2.8L 200hp VR6 - 15-degree inline V6
Six speed close ratio manual gearbox
LOADED out the wazoo with options and above all, IT HAS A SUNROOF!
27800miles
When I heard that the deal was approved...
Me = faint
I got a wonderful deal on it. They docked two thousand off the sticker and paid the Hyundai off. Insurance is only a very slim bump in premium.
The trade in:
2000 Hyundai Elantra GLS
Specs:
2.0L 135HP L4 Inline-four cylinder
Four-speed automatic transaxle
Generous amount of options including power windows, locks and painted mirrors (woohoo!)
101600miles
I originally wanted a truck but the demand is high for those and prices skyrocketed.
I am very pleased with this car already. Mainly because of the manual transmission and the sunroof but hey, IT'S AWESOMEOUS!!!!!!1!!!one!!shift+1=!
Pics!
Sorry of low quality, camera phone.

Now you need to get rid of the roof-racks & drop that thing on it's arse: it'll look sweet with those pumped wheel arches cool.gif

I like the racks. They set me apart from all other Reflex Silver GLIs. Plus, I can't. The previous owner didn't leave a key to access the bolts. LOL

From what I understand, 2003 is the only year that had the 200 horse 24V VR6 in them. Afterward the 180 horse 1.8T came in the GLIs along with embroidered/redlined buckets, red line trim, 18" wheels and the GLI badge in the grille.
I like mine. It looks like a regular Jetta until you see the GLI badge on the back and EVERYONE thinks it's got the 1.8T in it.
