Toyota FT-1
The Jalopnik article
Most have already see it, but just in case...
Specs? Whatever, it's a concept. Lets see that porn!
Like a Viper had a 1 night stand with a GT86
dat ass!
Those curves!!
Daddy like.
And eyes, all.... 6 of them.
Nah baby, you're not a freak, just... "special."
Where we're going, we don't need hoods.
Another window will do fine.
Interior?
Oh... okay? If you say so.
Alright, now that's pretty damn cool!!
I'm all Lewis Hamilton up in here.
Kind of (?)
Make the interior functional, keep the steering wheel gauges but lose the face shield.
Keep the body 100% how it is, give it a beastly V8 and some boost, RWD or no dice.
Now, lets talk numbers. Realistically, that's going to command R35 money, and I'm okay with that.
Opinions?

I have completely lost all interest in cars I can't currently afford. Tired of car companies teasing us with sh*t for the 1%.

It's cool and all, but another car I'll almost never see on the road at the price Toyota will charge for it. I think R35 money is lower than where they'll aim.

Damn you're all a bunch of grumpy old f*ckers.
I think it's gorgeous, and great step forward for Toyota in keeping with the current design language.

I don't how you couldn't afford one if you really set out to it.
Climbing the corporate ladder isn't that tough. It's 90% psychology and 10% aptitude.
Besides, in the 2nd hand market these things are going to just plummet in price. Look at the GTR, if you shop right a 1st series can be had for around 50k pretty regularly. It's not all death and pestilence out there.

Pretty much every jap performance car was far too expensive new. In fact they had real trouble selling the R32 GT-R in australia back in the day, they cost something like 110,000 1990 dollars off the top of my head.
