well im back in cali and i start school in october, school happens to be an hour commute for me and well im starting over, i cant get a new car due to divorce destroyed my credit. im trying to save up and pick something up for 600 - 3000 and im not sure what kind of hoopty car to get. i mean im looking into 80's rx7 and supras and cars along that line something cheap but still not bad, or if i should say screw it and buy a starter bike like a 250cc size engine

Bike but beware of rain. Still got the Tib or did you get rid of it?
Early 90s Grand Ams are cheap to find and last a long time. But sounds like you want something kinda sporty still.

Low budget + any Rx-7 = Bad idea.
Personal experience right here. I've rebuilt the engine (costs around $1300) rebuilt the transmission, fought electrical problems, battled all kinds of weird problems. They're not good for daily drivers, and the mileage is terrible. So if you're looking for a cheap, reliable DD that is fun, an old sports car isn't the way to go. However, if you're like me and want a car to play with, that'd be my first choice.

i gotta buddy whos selling me hias 1990 celica and its not bad he just doesnt want to put any time into it and hell hold it for a few weeks tell i get the money. im getting a really good deal on it

im getting to much of a good deal on this car only costing me 650 and he could easily sell it for more with the condition he has it in. i just wish i could have kept my rd2 since i invested so much into her
