i had a yaris as a rental car. when i was driving about 80mph on the highway, it seemed a little top heavy in long sweeper turns...like a roll-over waiting to happen. a little scary. i've never driven an SUV but i imagine it feels the same.

Doesnt like the Sonata?? Why?? 02.gif
If you have to choose between only those cars then I'd say get the corolla. If you have more of a choice, then try the prius instead of the yaris. Im sure there are fairly new ones in your price range.

sonata is the shit... I have a 1990 sonata we bought used and had 87,000Km on it well at 120,000 i rebuild/balanced the engine.. as of to day it has 785,568Km on it.. no rust, no crashes, Mobil 1 0-40w and it goes 210Kph. i also up graded the ignition system to msd 6al and blaster 2 coil. i am going to get it repainted this year.. but korean cars in america still have that "pos status" if that is what you want to call it..
