Sold The Tib; Got Another Car
#1
Well guys, this is a moment deep in my brain I new would come sometime, but I never wanted to consciously recon as a true thought.
My reality changed, I am going to be a father and I needed another car, bigger and with four doors so the quest for another car begun and I constantnly evaluated the new car market (not too expensive) and I found NOTHING worth $$$ performance wise; so I settled into "I am going to get a medium sedan, no matter how powerful it is" and what seemed to be the best profile for me was a 2005 Mazda 6i. (pics below).
As for the Tibs luck, I sold it to a friend that does not know a lot about mechanics, but he had a Tib in the past and he knows and appreciates all I did to mine (AirRam, heather, 1.8 cam, Cai, full suspension, brakes, etc).
The Tib was a faithful companion, but it was time for a change and I got good $$$ for my 97 RD.
This site is by far the best automotive forum (dedicated to one model) I've seen, I hope to stay in touch, I haven't been much around here lately, but that is because it would have been impossible to sold the Tib if I was gettint in here everyday.
THANKS TO EVERYONE THAT HELPED (a lot of members) I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THE EXPERIENCE OF BEING A RDTib MEMBER (...with a car....)
And the glorious and always to be remembered Tib:

I'll definitely stay around... this site is awsome; and if there is any help I can give with the experience gathered in these 5 years with the Tib, I'll share it.
I might live outside the US, and I might not have meet with you personally, but you guys are my friends.
BTW, I am traveling to the US on second half april, I'll be in the Palm Beach area, any chances you are going to be there?
