Back in the day, Hot-Rodders would usually do the work to the engine and the rest of the car BEFORE they put fancy performance stickers all over their cars. If you had the stickers, and didn't have the actual mods and horsepower to back it up, you'd be laughed at very badly! But these days they have it backwards!!! They think it's cool to plaster their cars with the performance stickers and have NO PERFORMANCE! It's really fun to blow these guys off the road with a stock sedan!
Ricers by definition : A group of hot rod wannabe's that take for the most part a base model economy car (Civics', Cavaliers, etc) and install all sorts of goofy shit like Shopping Cart Spoilers, Cutting the springs to lower the car, ridiculous exhaust tips and/or mufflers (Kazoo's that do NOTHING but make it sound like a pissed off weed eater), Neon Lights, non-functional Hood Scoops, and more than anything else RACING STICKERS while 99% of them rarely perform ANY mods to the Engine itself! The real drag racers think of these people as POSERS! Many of the RICERS keep saying that this is an import vs. domestic thing. B.S! It's the f*cking stupid shit you do to your rides that makes it a RICER! If you drive a stock CIVIC and it looks and sounds like a stock CIVIC then you're just driving an ECONOMY car. No big deal! If you install stupid wings, noisemakers, and racing stickers on it YOU'RE A RICER! If you have a V6 Mustang (for example) and install a shopping cart spoiler on that thing and some racing stickers, again YOU'RE A RICER!!!
