There's a thin line between passion and obsession but as long as you're not hurting anybody why not love a good car design?

I love the Willy's jeep. I love original things, and cars like the EVO1-9 were great. It seems like now Lancia, Subaru, Mitsubishi have said, "Ok, wild cartoonish styling is over, the fun's over, let's grow up and appeal to the boring average consumer because we'll sell more cars that way." It's like they took the kid from his playground! The playground is still there, but the kid is 30 years older.



Today's movies, music, art, pop culture is full of suck, even if it's engineered better. Look at rally cars today: They all look alike, perform alike, sound alike, look ugly, easy to drive, boring to watch...



Henning Solberg ran a Mitsubishi Lancer WRC 2000-spec last month and placed SECOND overall in 2012 WRC Sweden! Listen to that sexy engine! The car itself looks amazing! No Fiesta or DS3 crap can replace it no matter how many times they win:

Look at this photo. That Delta is very likely LESS powerful than today's stock Mitsu's/Subaru's/you name it! But WHY is this photo so cool, and would it be this cool if you had some new stock 2012 EVO or WRX next to it? Howabout in 10, 12 years? ...highly doubt. Highly.
