Doing some searching about the Veloster and found a few sites beginning to talk about the return of the Tiburon in 2011. I know we'd heard a BIT about this years ago, but stuff is starting to get out...

Now, the Veloster isn't based on the new Elantra, and sizes are much different between the two.

The new Elantra isn't looking bad at all, and with the usual Elantra/Tiburon sharing, we can see that it should be about right (I'm assuming the Elantra Touring was just a stopgap while the new ones were designed).

BTW, Where has this HyundaiBuzz site been?!?!?!?

Elantra: Last up is a brand-new 2011 Hyundai Elantra. TheCarConnection's sources say the new Elantra will be a completely new car family based on a new architecture. It's likely that a two-door version will arrive early in 2011 as a Tiburon replacement, and styled along the lines of the Hyundai Veloster concept. A convertible isn't in the plan, however.

Good, they should bring back the Tiburon! Don't get me wrong, the Genesis is nice, but not quite as edgy as the tiburon.
I think the Genesis is good for a flagship car, but I find it appeals more to the upper middle class types who like BMW's and acura's.
The tib I always found to be more geared towards the younger crowd.
Even in the name:
Tiburon - Spanish for Shark - edgy
Genesis - Phil Collins' old band - land of confusion
----or----
Genesis - Creation section of the bible
IMO, bring back the shark.
