So I flew out to Portland, Oregon this weekend to finish up a deal on a car. It's a 1991 Toyota MR2 Turbo - black, T-tops, JDM engine, LSD, body kit, 18 in. wheels +more. Just about everything I could want in a car is there - black, RWD, mid-engine, 2-door coupe, LSD, turbo and best of all, quite rare. The only extra I'd want is leather seats, which is easy enough to fix. I'm having it shipped so it'll be in my possession in a couple weeks.

My dad actually drives a 91 Red MR2 without turbo but he imported a rear section of a Japaneese MR2 a few months back and is rebuilding the engine and everything to swap into his. I love driving his car now i cant imagine after the swap. Have fun with it they are great little cars!

Be careful of the wiring... a guy I knew at my last base had the same exact setup you have there and it was always catching fire due to faulty wiring...

Best of luck though!

fing02.gif GREAT car. Those things can see 400WHP on stock internals. A few of the TRD Solara guys had these as their beaters.

I cant tell you how much the Baby Ferrari continues to impress me. How much did it cost you?

Ye... be wary of wiring. Notorious for that stuff. Thats why I wouldn't buy one myself, I hate wiring LOL.
