I just got my shipment of wheels in. I ordered the Rota Slipstreams 17x8.5. I think I got 17x8's. How do I measure them? edge to edge they're 9"... On the inside they're stamped "1780E48" which I'm almost positive means 17x8 with 48+ Offset...

I pray I didn't get the wrong ones!!!!

If you look at Rota's site they have some contact information. You should be able to send them the part number and they will tell you exactly which wheel they are. Probably be easier than us guessing.

I beleive most rims are measured from bead mounting face to bead mounting face.. AKA the inside of the rim to the inside of the rim. If you are getting nine inches on the outside, you are probably looking at an eight and half inch wide rim.

BTW.. that is a WIDE rim for a Tib..

Tib is dead... LONG LIVE THE KING!

If you're right, which seems accurate, then it is a 8" wide rim. 02.gif /sniff /sniff
Now I have to see about getting the right ones, or getting money back... oh what's a boy to do?

Not so sound like an AZZ, but since THIS is a forum for Tib specific items, I'm gonna move this to Other Vehicles

Sorry...

But I did contact Rota, and they are the wrong ones. The vendor was contacted and they're going to be swapping them out. Should have them by next week some time.

/\ /\ /\ Yeah, you should prolly say that these are for your WRX instead of us guessing what you drive. I was going to mention you might have "issues" with that size of rim, but I guess the WRX can handle it.
