here is what the dump truck(as the wife would call it) looks like right now.
This is why she looks like that right now. The pinion shaft bent causing the pinion gear to grind away at the carrier.
By the end of today there should be a new rear end under it with 3.73 gears and limited slip. and in the not to distant future 4.56 gears should be in.

Well the install has been put on hold. I would have already been done, but the old u bolts on the new axle are rusted in place so i need to drive up to the queer and get an angle grinder and i should be done arfter and hour or so of work. That and well it is raining/snowing right now.

It's 4WD right, What gear ratio is in the front, Ive seen a few people put higher ratio's in the rear and forget about the front, then BOOOOM the transfer case blows apart and they wonder why, just figured I would throw that in there just in case, front and rear need to be the same.

Theprevious owner had 3.73 out back and 4.56 up front, but i never ran the 4 wheel because i knew it was mismatched.
i will have 4.56 gears front and rear when all is said and done. Thanks for looking out maxxtib
