so i havent been around much this week because i've been out enjoying my new toy
which is a pretty big jump from this old machine
i just got tired of f***ing with the yamaha and Kaw was such a good price i couldnt pass it up.
here are the specs and pics
1995 Kawasaki zx1100E GPZ
21k with rebuilt engine (new rings and seals)
1100cc geared to 11,000RPM (touring version of ninja 1100)
been droped on driver side from kickstand
been layed down on pass side at about 30mph
with the minor damage on this bike it was just a steal at $2000 dollars and it rides straight and pulls hard.
here are some pics of me riding to dinner the other night
i know its not the newest or fastest bike out, but for my experience level its pleanty fast and the gearing makes it something i can easliy handle. its not gonna pop any wheelies and throw me off the back when you dig for a few gears on the highway.
but she does cruise ar about 80 and driving a little fast is 100. the fastest i've been comfortable to take it is 140 and now that i did that im too scared to do it again. 120 is about all the more i can comfortablely pull to. which is alot easier to get to then in the tib.
as far as my tib goes now, when i fix her clutch issue i'm gonna do the 5lug swap and call that project complete. the tib just cant be a fast car compared to the cheap speed of bikes. i mean 2k in a turbo kit that will cause problems OR 2k into a lil 150mph , 560lb little rocket.

this is seriously the best 2k i've spent in my automotive career. only thing that sucks is that i got it so late in the year. but i've ridin the tank out every day i've had it. so i'll get comfortable real quick, i'm gonna just take the licence test here next week so i can start takin girls for rides. i've allready had to turn down 6 really fine chicks, and noone likes to say no to a cute girl
