Just finished a complete upgraded for my GSX. Here are some pics of the final product.

Short list of mods: Forged Pistons, Eagle Rods, Ported head with SS Valves, ACT 2100 clutch, RC 550's, SAFC-II, 2.5" intake, 3" exhaust, and 16G Turbo.

Here is an update with the 2G MAS - better throtle response and less restriction.

What are you making for boost? A little bigger injectors and you could easily hit 400+ whp with that set up.

Looks real nice. I'm in the market right now for a 1g gsx as a winter car.

Thanks. I'm currently pushing 21 lbs of boost - which feels great with the higher compression 8:5:1 pistons.

You are correct, I can probably squeeze out a bit more power with bigger injectors. Eventually I want to move up to a FP3052 turbo which will put me near the 450hp area.

Good luck with the GSX search, I'm looking to pick up an AWD auto for my next project.

i hate you. i've always wanted an awd dsm... they are extremely hard to find around here and when you do they are either babied and outrageously priced or falling apart.

and oh yeah i love your car fing02.gif

get some 800cc injectors. if you have a built bottom then don't worry about it, crank up the boost!

Yeah the bottom end should safely handle 600-650hp. I was thinking of going with the FP 68HTA, or FP 3052 turbo and upgrading to some 750cc injetors.

your going to need to go bigger than that. my buddy has stock internalled gst w/ big 16 fmic 3' cat tuned and he's running 800cc injectors, making 330whp.

Wow 800cc on a big 16G that's an overkill, the Evo comes equiped with its on big 16G and only utilizes 560's. On another note though, it does give him room to grow - go big once and you don't have to upgrade again.

Well I recently changed my mind on looking for a GSX. We are actually compiling a list, and one member is working out the AWD swap on the 3g V6 platform, so I'll be putting my money into making my 3g AWD rather than buying a 2g. We've got 4 4cyl 3g's AWD and we have a full list of needed parts for the 3g.

Can't wait to see this thing with the turbo you want. Good luck!
