Well since the total destruction of my tib I have picked up another car. A rough little mitsu 3000GT, no no its not the VEEAR4(VR4), but it is a base 3.0 SOHC v6 with your standard 5 speed. The car has blemishes and needs a ton of TLC but it is at the point where im pretty proud of it so far.
MODS:
Injen short ram intake
Optima red top battery
2500K golden yellow HID bulbs w/ Zenon ballasts
Charcoal OEM 16x8 wheels
ICW 16x7 wheels (winter)
Muteki Neo-chro lugs
cat back exhaust work
drilled front rotors
striped trunk
night sades? rear tails
SOON:
Test pipe
front aero (canards, spliter)
wider tires and wheels
springs
night sades turn siggys
harness
floor bar
LATER: wayyyyyy later.
GTO engine and tranni
64" GT wing
18x9 front 18x10 rear
headers(before engine naturally...)
body work for touch ups
front and rear wide fenders
carbon hood and hatch
here is some pics, keep in mind that the ricer red interior paint is not nearly as bas as it was before. Ill get bette rpics up when its not so sunny
the direction im headed with this car is functionality. I realize its not as beast in a straight line, as was the case with the tiburon but it has great torque. So im going with slammed suspension on the stock aero, fattest tires, crazy camber, and enough downforce to equal 3 half ton women. The engine has to be reliable to it will stay stock until im out of school and whatnot. until then i will have a fun street legal autox car smile.gif.

Nice.
I was jaded on what qualifies as a quick street car by a 3000GT VR4.
It had uprated turbo's and it would scoot. When my co-worker (who wanted one for a while and already had a stealth) saw it was available, he took off in the middle of the workday to get it. t3h boss asked if he had gone to get a car, I told him what I was told "it's not a car, it's the car"

How hard and/or expensive would it be to get used parts from a junkyard or something to convert the engine to stock twin-turbo? I know that's the first thing i'd be looking to do

we've talked about it quite alot with the TT idea... his is a SOHC, which means hes screwed lol.. the heads use different flanges, and some other minor things are different. we are hoping to do an STS system on his car in the coming months laugh.gif
