hi, guys, I just ask your advice of what car is great for circuit.
I need some car with good power with good balance and not heavy.
I want to start to saving money to buy a car, but I want to have a goal to start saving.
I was thinking about a Nissan Pulsar NX or EXA ( 1986 ) and modify it to run it in a circuit. but I think that is a little too old..
I dont want Hondas, acura, bmw, etc.
i want a nissan or toyota... between 1988 to 1992.
what car could be a nice choice?
and if you got specs it would be a lot better.
thanks

I would suggest a Toyota Celica Altrac, but you wouldn't really need the AWD. As far as Nissan goes, 300zx, 240sx, 200sx....anyone of those should work for what you want.

what of a First gen Toyota MR2? They were relativly light, had decent power, and there are enough mods out there to keep them up with the newer cars out there today.
Also, check eBay for a rebuildable Miata. If you are only going to drive it on the track, buying a car with a ripped off bumper or fender is not much of a hinderance.
If you are looking at the Pulsar.. might I suggest the boxy 90's Sentra? they have a spec series for it and they are about as cheap as dirt.. but they still have a raging aftermarket.

Vehicle: 2001 Hyundai Tiburon
Miatas are godly. If all the women didn't drive one around here, I would've got one instead of the Tib... and if it had more headroom. Great little cars... although a little cramped for someone 6 foot 3 inches like me. cool.gif
Celicas and MR2s are also great cars, and Toyota engines are very reliable.

seriously, if you can get a pre-97 miata I would say get it. There was an article in this months Super Street about a guy who put an S2K engine in the miata. the power there would just be amazing.
